Ferrand Cognac Sélection Des Anges Cognac
Ferrand Cognac Sélection Des Anges Cognac
Sélection des Anges Cognac is named after the evaporation of the spirit during cask ageing. Whisky lovers might be more familiar with the term'angels'share'. Having spent around three decades slumbering in Ferrand Cognac's humid cellar, that loss must have been considerable, but what it has left behind is truly remarkable. Although Sélection des Anges has all the hallmark roundness of its great age, it remains stunningly vibrant. It was crafted by Master Blender, Alexandre Gabriel, using the finest eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru of Cognac. As elegant and dazzling as the decanter and gift box it is housed in, the mahogany-coloured Sélection des Anges unfurls revealing experiences like taking a Cuban cigar from the humidor; opening a chocolate box filled with violet, rose and coffee creams, candied fruit, walnut caramels, crystalised ginger, praline and vanilla fudge; and entering the tea emporium at Mariage Frères. But it doesn't stop there, it continues to reveal notes of jasmine, liquorice, leather, vanilla, saffron, cedar and more. It's truly sensational stuff, demonstrating why Ferrand Cognac's creations are in such high demand.£28.57 per 100.00ml
