Made in a crisp Provençal style, Massaya Rosé is an elegant combination of wild strawberry, redcurrants, Mediterranean spices, aromatic thyme and cooling mint. Previously described by The Guardian's Fiona Beckett as a"great value wine for the weekend", this is a textbook choice for mezze, barbeques, tagines and paella. Massaya is a collaboration between two Lebanese brothers Ramzi and Sami Ghosn, and two pioneering French winemaking families - the Bruniers of Vieux Télégraphe and the Hébrards formerly of Cheval Blanc. These wines from the Bekaa Valley, as you might expect, combine aspects of the Rhône and Bordeaux, with a spicy Levant twist.
