Famed and respected Rhône-winemaker Alain Graillot met the owners of Domaine des Ouleb Thaleb when he was on a cycling holiday in Morocco, hence the name and label. They decided to make a wine together from the estate's vineyards near Casablanca, and Graillot put his significant Syrah skills to use, resulting in Syrah du Maroc. This distinctive yet inviting fruit-forward wine has warming notes of sweet plum, cherry fruits, raisins and spice, and it's a perfect match for burgers, grilled lamb, meze or vegetable tagine.
