Winston Churchill's favourite Champagne house was founded in 1849 by Pol Roger, who from the very start favoured a dry-styled Champagne, knowing it was the preference of the English palate. This is a flagship release; a Champagne composed from 30 still base wines drawn from at least two vintages, using the varieties of Champagne, pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier in equal proportions. Stylistically, Pol Roger's Brut Réserve is medium-bodied, with an attractive fruity balance and refreshing acidity. Aromas of brioche, honey and stone fruit grace the nose, whilst the palate is dry, crisp, flavoursome and very drinkable.
