Rapaura (pronounced'ra-para') Springs was the New Zealand Wine Producer of the Year at the International Wine&Spirit Competition 2015. Utilising the underground pure water springs that create a little oasis in the Marlborough landscape, they craft an absolute joy of a Pinot Noir. The Rapaura Springs Marlborough Pinot Noir bounces with exuberance. It scatters black cherries, blackcurrants, cranberries, raspberries, redcurrants and rhubarb around the mouth as it does so. The oak adds a prickle of pepper, dried herbs, something of a spiced plum crumble and a gentle waft of smoke, all of which make this particularly food friendly.
